Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subcontractors billing vendor management and quantity surveying with more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry particularly in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of mobilizing subcontractors and labor managing site visits and ensuring project progress through effective vendor sourcing and management

Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage subcontractors billing and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  
• Mobilize subcontractors and labor ensuring adequate resources for project completion.
  
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress resolve issues and maintain vendor relations.
  
• Utilize MS Office tools especially PowerPoint and AutoCAD for project management and presentations.
  
• Perform client billing and demonstrate knowledge in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS).
  
• Conduct quantity surveying estimation rate analysis and ensure financial project efficiency.
  
• Ensure project targets are met through effective vendor sourcing management and innovative strategies.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• More than 12 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on residential and commercial buildings.
  
• Proven experience in subcontractors billing quantity surveying and vendor management.
  
• Proficient in MS Office applications particularly PowerPoint and AutoCAD.

Specific Criteria:

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates with a total work experience of 7 years are preferred though not mandatory.
  
• Must be willing to undertake regular site visits and have the flexibility to meet project demands.
