Financial Analyst for a US investment fund manager.

Explorador Capital is a boutique multistrategy investment manager seeking superior returns in Latin America. Investing since 1992.

Job Description:

We are looking for a young highly motivated financial analyst to join our research team at Explorador at our office location in Buenos Aires on a parttime basis (20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis or portfolio management and a solid understanding of international financial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform valuations of companies. Project sales and earnings. Define and articulate an investment thesis.
• Assist in portfolio management including risk assessment and asset performance.
• Participate in the preparation of reports and presentations for investors.
• Data Analysis: Utilize financial models statistical tools and database to analyze large datasets and extracts meaningful insights for decisionmaking purposes
• Monitor and summarize trends and developments in domestic and international financial markets.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration Engineering or related field or finishing the last year of university.
• Previous experience in financial analysis is preferred but not required for entrylevel positions.
• Good understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to process and analyze in spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in financial modeling Excel and other relevant software tools used for financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English both written and oral.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
