• Provide VMware support 24X7 including incident and work requests within the virtualization infrastructure spanning multiple data centers across multiple VMWare ESX/Nutanix environments.
• Working experience in optimizing VMware for utilization of SAN storage vSphere Thin Provisioning Resource Pools Host Profiles and EMC plugins
• Experience working with enterprise level network & storage networking (FC SANiSCSI 10Gbetc.)
• Creation migration cloning snapshots backup recovery and troubleshooting of Virtual machines.
• Experience in P2V vMotion and VMware virtual center.
• Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
• Knowledge of core internet protocols. SMTP DNS FTP HTTP HTTPS
• System Maintenance and Upgrades: Apply patches upgrades and security updates to VMware infrastructure components. Perform regular system maintenance tasks including health checks performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create and maintain excellent documentation is a must.
• Good handson exp on virtual centre and knowledge of managing Virtual centre database.
• Creating templates VM deployments and configuration. Assigning.
• Attaching releasing LUNS from ESX hosts.
• Working knowledge of ESX and Virtual center servers patching
• Good handson Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
• Taking snapshots and restoring snapshots of VM S
• Prior experience with or knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
