We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Theatre (Eyes Dental & FascioMaxillary) to a leading private hospital in Dublin Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the provision of clinical and professional leadership nursing management and continuous professional development in area of responsibility
- Designated to take charge within a speciality in the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility for that speciality.
- The CNM 1 is accountable to the senior nursing management within the Theatre Department.
- Participate and encourage the development of a research based nursing practice within the area.
- Ensure that nursing policies procedures and standards are developed and revised.
Requirements
- Registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Minimum of 3 years postregistration experience in an acute theatre setting required
- Completion of a management course is preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical and managerial proficiency as well as strong leadership and organizational abilities are essential.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively manage staffing resources is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and computer literacy skills are required.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities are essential.
- Knowledge of nurse education and development issues is necessary.
