Chief Accountant

For our client an international company located in Prague 4 we are looking for Chief Accountant.

Tasks

• Supports the Finance General Manager in guaranteeing the companys accounting compliance with group and statutory requirements
• Review and approval of A/R and A/P postings Fixed assets all relating postings
• Control of general ledger Monthly closing process management
• Preparation of payment requests (in absence of Treasury specialist)
• Preparation of certain documents for salary calculation and communication with payroll agency
• Preparation of VAT tax returns communication with tax advisors Communication with tax authorities
• Preparation of other statistical reports and the documents for auditors
• Preparation of daily cash flow reports (in absence of Treasury specialist)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years previous work experience as an Chief Accountant role
• Degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferable
• Knowledge of SAP FI is must Good computer skills (MSOffice)
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Active knowledge of English (written and spoken) and Czech is must
• Ability to manage small team (12 junior accountants)
