Site Procurement Manager fmd - Healthcare Industry

About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Procurement Manager with lifescience experience. This is an onsite role based in the area of Wasserburg Germany where you will be instrumental in managing approximately a medium due digit million in spend. This is an opportunity to step into a role with significant autonomy within an established framework and contribute to a dynamic private equity portfolio company known for its leading contract development and manufacturing organization capabilities including specialized liquid and aseptic filling processes.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing category strategies in conjunction with central leadership ensuring local relevancy and adherence.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and aligning with the sites supply chain management.
• Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations for local transactional suppliers ensuring the procurement policies and procedures are followed.
• Demonstrating expertise in market knowledge for procurement categories keeping up with market trends key players and demand drivers.
• Analyzing spend data identifying financial savings and managing category data with responsibility for related KPIs and reports.

Requirements

What Youll Bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in Site procurement and/or supply chain management within the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of managing supplier accounts and relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured methodical approach.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing contract lifecycles.
• University degree in a related field.
• Ability to work independently as a selfstarter with a cando attitude.
