Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the Naples FL community. As the CFO you will play a crucial role in guiding our financial strategy ensuring fiscal responsibility and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
  
• Develop and implement financial policies procedures and controls to safeguard the organizations assets.
  
• Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
  
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
  
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board executive leadership and relevant committees.
  
• Identify and assess financial risks proposing and implementing mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting.
  
• Manage cash flow investments and financial resources efficiently.
  
• Implement strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
  
• Oversee financial aspects of grant applications reporting and compliance.
  
• Collaborate with program managers to align financial strategies with grant requirements.
  
• Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  
• Provide training and support to staff on financial matters.
  
• Collaborate with external stakeholders donors and partners on financial matters.
  
• Participate in fundraising activities and contribute to donor relations.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role within the nonprofit sector.
  
• Strong understanding of nonprofit financial regulations and compliance.
  
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Experience working with diverse funding sources including grants and donations.
  
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
