Job Description: As a Purchase Executive at Laxmi Electronics you will play a vital role in managing the procurement process and ensuring the smooth flow of materials required for production. You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers negotiating contracts and maintaining accurate records of purchases. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of purchase and supply chain management principles excellent communication skills and proficiency in various office software applications.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at the most competitive prices.
  2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  3. Maintain and update the vendor database including supplier information prices and lead times.
  4. Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  6. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  7. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and supplier developments.
  8. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality quantity or delivery of goods.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on purchasing activities and performance metrics.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in business administration supply chain management or a related field.
  2. Basic knowledge of purchase and supply chain management principles.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English Kannada and Hindi languages both verbal and written.
  4. Proficiency in using office software applications such as MS Excel MS Word and PowerPoint.
  5. Familiarity with email communication and scheduling using Outlook or similar platforms.
  6. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  7. Detailoriented with good analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  9. Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles will be an advantage.
  10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
