Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in heavy civil or telecommunications construction (Tower Construction).
• 5 years in rapid transit construction a plus. Requisite experience to allow for proactive site management.
• Ideal candidate will be able to identify problems in advance foster timely communications and formulate economical solutions.
• Shall have completed OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training and First Aid/CPR/Blood Borne Pathogens Training.
• Prefer Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
• Responsible for following the construction safety and quality plans.
• Devotes full time to worksite safety quality; in implementing enforcing and maintaining the safety and quality program for the DesignBuilder and Subcontractor forces.
• Must be comfortable and committed to handling heavy documentation requirements. Procore experience preferred.
• Generates detailed daily report on time (daily)
• Must take accurate photos and label them according to the contract requirements
• Verifying materials against approved material lists/data sheets
• Ensuring all test and inspections are documented completely and accurately
• Track site attendance log
• Must be able to read a drawing and provide red line modifications when appropriate and/or incorporate red lines provided by subcontractors. Familiar with construction drawings design concepts and industry standards.
