Job Description:
- Complete the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment as required including working with external contractors.
- Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure the most efficient flow of production with the least possible downtime.
- Ensures all electrical parts wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements in a safe and efficient manner. .
Support maintenance of spare parts list.
- Work according to schedule made by production department and Maintenance Supervisor and ensure scheduler is aware when work assignments cannot be completed as planned.
- Maintain detailed records of labour hours of unscheduled repairs and improvements and technical repairs when creating work orders.
- General knowledge of blueprint reading.
- Must own Toolbox/Tools to carry out tasks.
- 13 years of experience in a similar maintenance electrician role.
- 442A certificate
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Overhead crane towmotor aerial lifts and measuring devices (such as: micro meter height indicator etc.) experience is an asset.
