Four-Slide Toolmaker

Job Summary:

• As a FourSlide Toolmaker you will be responsible for constructing maintaining and repairing tools used in the operation of fourslide machines.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient functioning of machinery troubleshoot issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Construction: Build assemble and modify tools according to engineering specifications and blueprints for use in fourslide machines.
• Tool Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Tool Repair: Diagnose and repair tools in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Machine Setup: Set up fourslide machines with appropriate tools and materials for production runs.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to tools or machinery as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with tools machinery or production processes and implement corrective actions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance repairs and modifications for reference and future use.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering production and quality assurance teams to address issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Training: Provide training and guidance to machine operators and other staff on proper tool usage maintenance and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a toolmaker or similar role particularly in the operation and maintenance of fourslide machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in tool construction and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
