Key Account Manager Life Science

BUSINESS UNIT: Sales

REPORTING TO: UKIE Sales Manager Thermal Solutions BU

Location: North UK (Preferably Manchester Which will allow him/ her to travel in the north area and few clients in the south)

THE ROLE:

As a Life Science Key Account Manager you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the life science industry. You will be responsible for managing key accounts building relationships with key stakeholders and driving sales growth. Your primary goal will be to understand customer needs provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge business acumen and excellent communication skills. You will receive a portfolio of existing customers including many that are part of our Global Strategic and Enterprise accounts. There will also be new and development/target customers from End Users to OEMs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and drive business growth predominantly in the life science sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers influencers and stakeholders within assigned key accounts.
  • Understand customer requirements challenges and goals to provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing and product development to deliver comprehensive solutions and address customer needs effectively.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide updates on account performance sales forecasts and market trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and expand product portfolio.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends competitive landscape and regulatory changes affecting the life science sector.
  • Represent Customer at industry conferences trade shows and customer events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide product demonstrations training and technical support to customers as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities customer interactions and market intelligence using the companys CRM system.
  • You will be the specialist within your area and part of our Life Science community team collaborating with other country community leads with a common goal to execute Enterprise(Global) Initiatives

  • Develop relationships with customers at all levels including executive.
  • Understand and use customer and regulated industry drivers for success in accounts.
  • Understand competitors their strategies and countertactics.
  • Ability to manage large opportunities by creating demand creating proposals and negotiating sales.

Key Metrics

  • Orders and Sales Revenue to target and grow previous year
  • Maintain a high level of customer face to visits each week
  • Size and conversion of sales funnel
  • Maintenance and compliance of CRM
