This is a remote position.

The position is commissionbased only offering unlimited earning potential for the right individual. As a Business Development Executive we are looking for a candidate who can:
  • Deeply understand our target personas and research places where we might find them.
  • Prospect potential clients during introduction meetings and provide a warm handoff on qualified leads to our sales team to close.
  • Assist in the proposal process sharing insights to help design a profitable program.
  • Perform customer and market research to refine sales messaging and optimize sales processes.
  • Identify sales collateral needs and participate in their development.
  • Represent Raftlabs at events building connections and leads.
  • Consistently look for new ways to grow the business.
  • Perform thought leadership activities for RaftLabs while being an ambassador for the company within the startup community.

Requirements

  • Youre a sales professional with at least 5 years of business development experience.
  • Youre a solutions driven conversationalist inquisitive about others and how you can help.
  • Youre passionate about the startup and tech communities and actively engaged in the ecosystem.
  • Youre a resourceful proactive and ambitious gogetter who believes in putting your best foot forward in everything that you do.
  • You ve enjoyed working with customers directly in the past and take pride in offering great customer service.
  • Youre attentive to detail and extremely organized with your own processes to keep track of everything and make sure no lead goes unfollowed up with.
  • Youre tech savvy and leverage tools to make your processes more efficient transparent and measurable.
  • You are a motivated independent worker who can self manage and also work well in a team environment.

You've at least 3+ years of hands-on experience working as a project manager. Bonus if you've worked on building SaaS products/projects. You've excellent know-how of software systems. You ve great communication skills (verbal and written). You re driven enough to build processes that scale up. You have a clear understanding of agile development methodology. You can combine technical and business skills to understand, test, and challenge while working harmoniously with the business and technology owners You are seeking a full-time engagement and are not distracted by freelancing / personal projects.
