We are looking for a senior technician to manage the Occupational Risk Prevention Workplace Health and Environmental function. This role will report to the Production Director and will integrate into an international group of HSE specialists within the Ecotone group.
Ensure/Manage Site/Unit Health Safety and Environmental policies and practices meet Local Site Standards Wessanen Standards and Legislative standards as a minimum. Driving the overall Wessanen HSE Culture and Vision at the site towards ZERO accidents.
Health Safety and Environment System Management
Lead the development and deployment of HSE strategies and roadmap to deliver continued improvement to sitesHealth Safety and Environmental performance.
Responsible for ensuring Local systems and procedures are implemented aligned with the Wessanen HSE standards.
Responsible for ensuring systems and procedures are in place and updated relating to the communication andreporting of site HSE data and provide feedback to Local Country Corporate/Group stakeholders and lead HSEManagement Review process.
Proactively monitor regulations and ensure compliance with legislation relating to Health Safety andEnvironmental standards and working conditions.
Responsibility for leading and maintaining the SiteUnits Health Safety and Environmental management systemsensuring that it delivers business benefits as well as continued accreditation to external management systems used.
Delivery of internal and external audit programs and corrective and preventative actions to address any nonconformity.
Maintain relationships with external (HSE) authorities.
Ensuring that Health Safety and Environmental and Loss Prevention incidents are suitably investigated conclusions
clearly identify responsibility and findings are acceptable for review by external authorities.
Support Train and coach leadership operations technical and engineering teams to:
Build knowledge and expertise within the organisation
Positively influence HSE mindsets and behaviours.
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and Corporate HSE standards
Ensure potential hazards have been identified assessed and where possible eliminated.
Ownership of line based risk assessment process and ensure process is in place across thefactory.
