Assignment Start Date: 3/1/2024
Shift: FullTime Varies
Salary Range: $60153.00 to $98571.00
The salary range displayed represents the typical salary of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Seeking fulltime and a parttime Respiratory Therapist to join our patientfocused Respiratory Therapy Team! The Hospital offers competitive pay and benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to perform advanced procedures requiring an appropriate level of knowledge in advanced procedures including ventilator care suctioning artificial airway care resuscitation bedside spirometry ABG specimen collections and interpretation and chest Xray interpretation.
- Administers all basic bronchial hygiene and therapeutic procedures including IPPB Incentive Spirometry EZPAP HHN CPT bland aerosol administration humidification therapy O2 therapy CPR basic/advanced airway maintenance smoking cessation education and asthma education.
- Performs EKGs EEGs PFTs Mobile Cardiac Telemetry Holter and Event Monitor hookups.
- Utilizes and maintains an organized medical record and utilizes clinical forms and EMR for documentation.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Previous experience preferred
- Must be able to perform all basic and selected advanced respiratory care therapeutic procedures as directed and monitored by appropriate personnel.
Education: Graduate of a college or university program of Respiratory Therapy (AMA approved).
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Credentialed with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Active Colorado license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advances in Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and NRP required within 6 months of hire
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must possess knowledge of and ability to apply emergency medical theory practices techniques and methods.
