WaterWastewater Engineer

Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage pipeline study/engineering project design
  
• Lead preparation of design documents (Plans Specifications Estimate of Probable Costs)
  
• Prepare permit applications for local state and federal agency approval
  
• Monitor project performance (Client Satisfaction Project Schedule and Budget)
  
• Attend client meetings (present proposed designs answer questions and coordinate work)
  
• Provide technical guidance to project teams
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Perform quality control reviews
  
• Assist in preparation of proposals and agreements (Project Approach Staffing and Fee Development)
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
  
• 6 years of experience managing water and wastewater projects
  
• Illinois PE License
  
• Member of professional/technical societies
  
• Experience preparing design plans and specifications writing reports and business correspondence
  
• Valid driver s license
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
