Enterprise Architect

Duties: This candidate must possess the ability to design securityminded infrastructure solutions that would enable technology solutions that support business outcomes. Designs may be cloudbased onpremises or hybrid. Work includes partnering with business customers gathering requirements analyzing currentstates and defining futurestates performing casebycase assessments of currentstate and proposed futurestate technologies and produce related documentation. Facilitating multidiscipline collaboration is a key success factor of the AHS Architecture Team.

Skills: Highly versatile being able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Highly collaborative with all relevant roles within and outside of the I.T. department. Excellent communication skills oral written and illustrated (diagrams). Ability to successfully handle conflict and be able to maintain calm in stressful situations. Experienced in negotiating with vendors and colleagues in order to produce designs that comply with Atlantic Health standards. Proven business experience to help align business vision and goals with technology initiatives. Maintains knowledge of advances in technology I.T. and enterprise architecture practices cloud and security best practices through Atlantic Health subject matter experts (collaboration) and individual pursuit of this knowledge (personal initiative). Makes attainable recommendations in the area of systems standards and procedures. Understands the fundamental concepts of all areas of information technology and systems. Not productoriented but system component and OSI model oriented. Understands the fundamental areas of IT Service Management (IE Capacity management availability management performance management and service delivery etc.) Understands the fundamental concepts of project management. Capable at vendor management. Able to objectively challenge and understand vendor perspectives negotiate and influence upon them Atlantic Health perspectives. Takes initiative seeks improvement opportunities and forms solutions regarding the continuous improvement of team operations and standards. Resourceful Capable of forming a solution to a need several different ways however with the resources available which may not always be ideal.

Education: BA or equivalent experience preferably in an I.T. related subject A blend of technical and leadership competencies. Management experiences a plus. Relevant certifications a plus Togaf or Zachmann enterprise architecture certification a plus ITIL Service Design certification a plus AWS Cloud Practitioner certification a plus Azure Cloud Foundations certification a plus Proven accomplishments in several of the areas above (Duties and skills section)
