Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the legal framework and negotiation of external legal counsel are fit for purpose and professionally managed.
- Establish a governance and policy framework to identify track and satisfy legal compliance and governance requirements.
- Represent the organization with industry bodies peak bodies and key external stakeholders.
- Lead effective tendering negotiation procurement and contract management across various transactions.
- Lead a highperforming governance compliance and procurement team embodying the organiations values.
Requirements
- 8 years postadmission experience and admission as a solicitor in New South Wales Australia.
- Contemporary industry knowledge in commercial law contract law industrial relations and governance.
- Exposure to the notforprofit and charitable sector.
- Exceptional negotiation stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to implement sustainable change and a systems thinking methodology.
- Passion for staying updated on organizational governance compliance legislative and regulatory frameworks.
