Senior Business Systems Consultant

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Systems Consultant for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $68 to $80 based on experience.
10month contract.
Fulltime 37.50 hours per week (remote work).

Responsibilities:

Provide daytoday support for a wide variety of ebusiness web applications.
Expediently triage issues and perform or delegate analysis remediation and resolution.
Manage and triage incoming service requests to resolution.
Review and approve change management requests.
Manage all business user access to ebusiness web applications and conduct annual security reviews.
Chair business and technical partner meetings including scheduling and setting agendas.
Assist key business partners with vendor management.
Provide coordination and manage different levels of complexity as required.
Lead teamspecific disaster recovery exercise preparation and execution.
Collaborate with various business areas and their IT partners to gather document and manage requirements for baseline/operations issues enhancements and small projects following the current company development methodology.
Facilitate communication between business and technology areas to address business issues.
Ensure all written documentation is clear understandable audienceappropriate and accurately captures key information.
Collaborate with the team on process analysis and improvements.
Develop an understanding of clients and systems being managed as well as the business direction.
Fully participate as a member of the team by supporting a work environment that promotes knowledge sharing customer service quality innovation and teamwork.

What you will need to succeed:

10 years of experience working in business analysis or a technical role.
Strong knowledge of business systems analysis principles with a proven working understanding of analysis consulting and facilitation skills.
Strong technical and problemsolving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of business and/or technology platforms or the ability to quickly learn about technology and digital products.
Experience working with clientfacing technologies and digital engagement platforms.
Conceptual understanding of APIs Kubernetes and Kafka.
Experience with web and mobile applications is considered an asset.
Knowledge of the financial services industry is considered an asset.
Excellent multitasking prioritization and time management skills.
Active participation in problem management processes.
Comfortable working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies.
Experience in process improvement initiatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills capable of clearly communicating both complex business and technical concepts and aligning the organization on decisions.
