A Leading NBFC Organization


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HR Legal and Compliance Manager to oversee all legal and compliance matters related to human resources within our organization based in India. The ideal candidate will ensure that HR policies procedures and practices comply with Indian labor laws and regulations. They will be responsible for managing legal issues related to employment employee relations and HR operations ensuring alignment with local legal requirements. This role demands strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes in the Indian context.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indian labor laws regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of changes in Indian employment laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders ensuring timely compliance.
  • Oversee the drafting and review of employment contracts agreements and other HRrelated documents ensuring compliance with Indian laws and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Masters/ Bachelors degree in HR/Labour Law Human Resources Business Administration or related field; additional qualifications such as LLB or LLM preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR legal and compliance roles in India preferably in a multinational or large Indian organization.
  • Indepth knowledge of Indian labor laws regulations and statutory requirements with a track record of ensuring compliance in HR practices.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal requirements in the Indian context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in handling legal issues related to employment employee relations and HR operations in India including litigation management and dispute resolution.
  • Candidate should have experience in managing bigger team / Outsourced Vendor.
  • Should have experience in vendor performance reviews and bring in efficiency
