Senior Operations Manager - Utility Arb

Join us were an Investors in People Gold Standard Company as wereseeking an experienced Senior Operations Managerto join our Utility Arbteam.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director you will play a crucial role in managing the team and ensuring the successful delivery and growth of our Utility Arb business and ensure that we exceed our clients expectations on safety quality and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities will be:

• Managing the team of Contract Delivery Managers to meet and exceed client and internal KPIs
• Delivering the strategic objectives of the Utility Arboriculture division
• Mobilising new contracts
• Lead the identification and implementation of best practice across the division
• Leading on delivering a consistent culture of safety
• Reporting on safety profitability and performance
• Delivering within budgets and programmes
• Contract negotiation

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager either with a technical Arboriculture background or strong management experience within utilities or facilities management to help lead our Utility Arboriculture Division.

This role is field based and covers multiple Contracts across the Midlands Cheshire and South Wales areas. Given our current growth ambitions the role may move into other areas so although the preference would be for the successful candidate to be based in or around these locations it is not imperative.

Youll need extensive contract management experience coupled with strong leadership skills that can motivate and inspire a diverse team across the whole region. Youll be a great team manager but you will also need a head for detail and be commercially astute in order to drive this part of our business forward.

In addition you will need;

• Excellent operational management abilities including strategic planning resource allocation and performance optimisation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients subcontractors and team members.
• Proactive problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service acting with integrity and honouring commitments.
