Roles and Responsibilities

• Take the lead in developing the design and development of sensor control for permanent magnet torque motors which includes sophisticated modulation of the inverter position and velocity estimates current control fault detection and improvement of efficiency.
• Closedloop force and position control for permanent magnet servo systems.
• Develop software test it and simulate it to implement and validate electronic designs.
• Using unit and integration tests oversee the software verification and validation processes.
• Preserve the necessary records for the task that is done.
• Assist in the development of new products comprehend break down and specify the needs for both processes and products.

Required Experience

• Knowledge in developing motor control algorithms. (Optional sinusoidal commutation FOC)
• Working knowledge of various motor types such as PMSM and IM.
• Knowledge of power electronics control (P PI PID controllers).
• Proficiency with DCDC converters inverters control logic and regenerative braking.
• Knowledge of how to adjust a motor control system for torque and speed characteristics.
• Cbased embedded software development experience.
• Good familiarity with low lever driver development such as QEP ADC and PWM.
• Knowledge of designing SW architecture.
• Protocols for communication: UART I2C SPI CAN.
• Software and hardware troubleshooting abilities.
• Modelbased design experience with programs like Matlab/Simulink and dSPACE is a plus.
• Producing and keeping up with program documentation for the software including any relevant approvals and compliance requirement

Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in an electronics/computer science engineering discipline with Five or more years of professional experience developing MCU software.
