HM: This hybrid role allows the candidate to work remotely and they must be based in Ontario the role commences April 1 2024.


Deliverables include but are not limited to: and nbsp;

  • Work with different stakeholders and subject matter experts from different backgrounds (clinical business technical).
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering documenting and analyzing business needs and requirements. and nbsp;
  • Contribute to the design and development of processes and products that assist in facilitating the exchange of health information for healthcare professionals
  • Help your team solve difficult problems learning from and sharing with team members.
  • Manage priorities and requests in an organized manner
  • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies processes best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization. and nbsp;


General Skills: and nbsp;

  • Translates patient portal specifications into business requirements to build and design the foundations of the program and nbsp;
  • Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements and nbsp;
  • Applies reengineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and costeffective service delivery approaches and nbsp;
  • Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project and nbsp;
  • Develops strategies prepares business cases and costbenefit analysis and conducts feasibility studies and nbsp;
  • Develops sound processes for requirements gathering and nbsp;
  • Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and nonfunctional requirements definitions for assigned projects and nbsp;
  • Monitors progress resolves problems and reports regularly to the Project Manager/Leader and stakeholders and nbsp;
  • Develops strategies preparing business cases and costbenefit analysis and nbsp;
  • Conducts requirements gathering develops documentation including presentations and briefing notes and conducts stakeholder engagement and nbsp;


Desired Skills: and nbsp;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Products with a preference for candidates that have experience with Microsoft based cloud tools.
  • College/University undergraduate degree in Health Business or related discipline from a recognized institution or equivalent experience and nbsp;
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario and nbsp;
  • Experience with health system business implementation and deployment projects and nbsp;
  • Proven track record working with health care professionals; direct clinical data experience or experience working with clinicians would be an asset and nbsp;
  • Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions and nbsp;
  • Ability to readily identify assess and mitigate implementation and adoption issues and nbsp;
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of change management workflow analysis and redesign business process integration and/or evaluation/quality improvement preferably in the health sector and nbsp;
  • Working knowledge of privacy policies and legislative processes Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and associated Health Information Custodian (HIC) requirements and nbsp;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices and nbsp;
  • Experience with a wide range of methods tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling business event modelling business process mapping and nbsp;
  • Experience in structured object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements and nbsp;
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills and nbsp;
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines and nbsp;



Skills

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Criteria 1 30 Points: Minimum 810 years business analysis experience working in preferably with electronic healthrelated projects (ex. FHIR)

Criteria 2 20 Points: Solid foundation in eliciting Business Privacy and Legal requirements and stakeholder management

Criteria 3 20 Points: Solid foundation in eliciting Technical and Architecture stakeholder requirements

Criteria 4 15 Points: Strong experience working within an Agile team using Azure DevOps or similar

Criteria 5 15 Points: and nbsp; and nbsp;Familiarity with legislation applicable to healthcare organizations such as PHIPA


Must Haves : and nbsp;

  • Minimum 810 years business analysis experience working in electronic healthrelated projects in Agile environment. and nbsp;
  • Experience with and knowledge of Project Management Process Documentation and Implementation
  • Experience working with Microsoft Products with a preference for candidates that have experience with Microsoft based cloud tools.
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written and strong stakeholder engagement skills and nbsp;
  • Time Management with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects and nbsp;
  • Knowledge of IT protocols: and nbsp;FHIR
  • Understanding of humancentered design process and user experience principals and techniques
