Director of FP A

Position Summary

Our Private Equity backed client in Scottsdale is looking for an experienced Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join their team. This role is critical to the company and will be the CFO s resource to drive the Executive Leadership team to make key decisions as well as identify performance improvement opportunities for the organization.

Responsibilities include:

Analyze current and historical data and other key metrics to support forecasting data reporting and trend analysis

Prepare consolidate and distribute all required financial reporting including budgeting forecasting and operating metrics tracking

Analyze variances and key performance indicators against expectations and share these insights with Senior Leadership Team private equity partners and board of directors to support key decisions

Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools

Develop presentations for key stakeholders; including Senior Leadership private equity owners and board of directors

Collaborate with various divisions consolidating information from multiple operating entities

Perform ad hoc analyses including building financial models to drive business decisions

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree required; MBA preferred

6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis data analytics and forecasting/planning

Previous experience in a PEbacked company preferred

Excellent communication skills; as well as the ability to tell a story with numbers and data
