Dashboard Systems Engineer

Apply Now! We are looking for a Dashboard Systems Engineer in Fort Meade MD. This role is pivotal in enhancing our operational capabilities through expert engineering and data visualization skills. You will be instrumental in the diagnosis solution design and deployment of sophisticated dashboard systems primarily utilizing Kibana for visualization needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule: Hybrid (25% Onsite 75% Remote)
  

• Engage in comprehensive problem diagnosis solution design integration test preparation risk assessment and mitigation planning and visualization configuration.
  

• Collaborate effectively with End Users Software Data and DevOps Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure seamless execution of engineering activities.
  

• Configure Kibana visualizations and KQL to enhance system GUI.
  

• Apply a Systems Engineering (SE) approach to systems planning design execution and sustainment.
  

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems engineering documentation and models using SE tools.
  

• Report on technical progress and outline the projected project schedule based on estimated levels of effort.
  

• Support the specification and definition of requirements for the GSMO E2E Architecture
  

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 4 years of professional experience; or 2 years with a related Master s degree.
  

• Minimum of 3 years of systems engineering experience.
  

• Proficiency in SQL or KQL and a solid understanding of softwarebased operational systems.
  

• Familiarity with developing formal DoD requirements and ensuring requirements traceability for software systems.
  

• Experience in developing software systems engineering documents and interface documents.
  

• Ability to develop detailed plans and schedules to support technical assignments.
  

• Knowledge of web services (API REST) and experience in project task management.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in Data Visualization dashboards and Elastic/Kibana.
  

• Familiarity with Network data big data applications and cloudbased AWS services.
  

• Experience creating DoDAF artifacts and using JIRA Git repo and Confluence for project management.
  

• Proficiency in DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies.
