Overview:
The IT Project Manager plays a crucial role within the organization responsible for planning executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This position involves overseeing all aspects of project management setting deadlines drafting budgets and working closely with various departments to ensure a successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects
- Define project scope goals and deliverables
- Develop fullscale project plans and associated communication documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Coach mentor motivate and supervise project team members
- Lead manage and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Where required negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Track project milestones and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven working experience in project management in the Cloud Environment. ( AWS/Azure )
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
- Demonstrated experience in project management processes including project planning scheduling tracking issue and risk management change management and quality management
- Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Proven ability to build develop and lead project teams
- Experience in strategic planning risk management and/or change management
- Strong leadership diplomatic and motivational skills
- Proven analytical evaluative and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly and apply new tools and techniques effectively
