As a Litigation Associate you will play a pivotal role in our clients legal team working closely with partners and senior associates to provide comprehensive legal services in litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research drafting legal documents participating in hearings and trials and providing strategic advice to clients. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for litigation and a strong commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on case law statutes and regulations relevant to litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents for filing in state and federal courts.
  • Assist in the preparation of discovery requests responses and motions including managing document review and production.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings depositions and trials.
  • Participate in client meetings depositions mediations and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files including tracking deadlines court appearances and document production.
  • Stay informed about developments in litigation practice areas including changes in laws and court rules.
  • Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner.



Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and eligibility to practice law in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
  • 25 years of experience in litigation practice preferably in a law firm environment.
  • Strong legal research writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and litigation support software is a plus.


Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a litigator in a law firm or similar legal setting. Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and court practices. Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely. Proven ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Sound judgment and the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation support software. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
