Elementary ESE Resouce Room Teacher

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students providing individualized support and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
  
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (ESE) in State.
  
• Experience working with elementaryaged students with exceptionalities particularly in a resource room setting.
  
• Knowledge of best practices in special education including differentiation and individualized instruction.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and other stakeholders.
  
• Patience empathy and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with various learning styles and abilities.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
  
• Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
  
• Bachelor s in Special Education or relevant major; Master s is a plus.
  
• Valid Teaching Certificate OR Valid Statement of Eligibility
  
• Valid State Special Education Teaching Certification
  
• Prior Teaching Experience Preferred
