Join an internationally recognized designer manufacturer and marketer of resistive foil technology sensors and sensorbased systems as a Process Technician at VPG s location in Wendell NC. The Process Technician will support daily production by preparing equipment for operation creating/modifying fixturing and tooling assisting in workflow working on technical problems focusing on quality issues helping mill operators and working on direct production. In addition this position will support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvements to quality and output of product.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Perform equipment set up and alignment
  • Assist and provide guidance to mill operators
  • Provide support to Supervisor
  • Working direct production with rolling lapping grinding slitting cleaning cutting inspection and inventory support
  • Assist with equipment maintenance

Requirements :

  • Minimum High School Graduate/Equivalent
  • 2 Year Technical Degree/Certificate in Manufacturing or related field preferred
  • 2 4 years related experience
  • Good manual dexterity and mechanically inclined
  • Ability to work with hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Characteristics indicative of the ability to work as part of a team show initiative be assertive and exhibit patience
  • Adhere to schedules policies and procedures and attention to detail
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
