What the opportunity looks like:
The role of the Packaging Coordinator will be to manage multiple packaging projects across both our branded and own label portfolio. An exceptional ability to multitask and prioritise to deliver packaging and mandatory projects within the preagreed timelines and budgets. Ensuring that all componentry meets our required manufacturing specifications and quality criteria.
Excellent attention to detail exceptional communication skills with the ability to project manage crossfunctional teams from across the business. Work collaboratively to drive both innovative and sustainable solutions to packaging whilst ensuring that all packaging is legally compliant to cope with the everchanging mandatory environment. Important to be confident to challenge the status quo to adhere to and develop process improvement ideas to help drive adherence and consistency across the NPI process.
- To project manage the development implementation and delivery of Tamnavulin Lidl Whyte & Mackay Channel MDU packaging and mandatory projects ensuring that preagreed in market launch dates are met in full to the agreed budget.
- To ensure that the development of all componentry fully meet our preagreed specifications and quality standards to drive improved manufacturing line efficiencies.
- To work with brand marketing Legal and design agencies to provide packaging guidance and solutions whilst ensuring artwork is signedoff in a timely manner to maintain project timelines.
- To champion and drive sustainable solutions for brand packaging to increase our global market share.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role were looking for:
- Previous project management experience.
- Understanding of packaging and print preferable.
- Organised methodical logical with the ability to prioritise and manage multi projects.
- Highly organised with the ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively on a high number of fast paced and complex projects.
