Job Title: IT Service Associate OneSource Service Support Specialist

Job Description:
- Works inside designated customer sites coordinating client moves or providing high touch support. Coordinates and communicates with end users regarding all aspects of the OneSource Program including service call initiation scheduling maintenance inventory data integrity escorting of vendors for managed activities safety and day to day lab operations.
Job Duties:
- Procure and drive engagement of appropriate resources.
- Manage and keep appropriate schedule and effectively communicate changes impact and resolutions to key stakeholders to ensure proper action is taken in all areas.
- Interface with key stakeholders vendors and subcontractors to secure a diverse range of services required during the project(s).
- Properly delegate and oversee the execution of project deliverables utilizing current process and implement improvement when needed to insure highest level of efficiency in execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain constant communication with customers to address projects progress including accomplishments challenges and deliverables to keep complete transparency in the process.
- Maintain communication with Regional Project Manager to address progress challenges and other aspects of the business.
- Maintain records of time and costs to ensure accurate accountability of project resources and finance elements.
- Assist with refinement of operational metrics to insure continuous improvement for current and future processes.
- Utilize collected data to develop strategic action plans for cost savings and efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in science or business management (will consider candidates who have a completed AS/AA degree who are in progress for completing BA/BS degree)
- PM certification (CAPM PMI PMP PRINCE2) recommended but not required.
- 12 years in an FDA regulated industry particularly in a Quality Assurance department preferred.
- Familiarity with Project Management and Project Coordination concepts a must.
- Excellent communication skills experience with customer interaction.
- Ability to influence cross functional teams and various levels of professionals.
- Availability to travel (up to 40%)
- Highly organized attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel word project); Smartsheet is a plus.
- Critical thinking to bring solutions to a problem rather than just the problem is a plus. Example: This is our problem; I think we can do this to resolve it. Instead of This is my problem what do I do
Working Environment:
- Position is in a research laboratory environment.
- Job pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time.
- Potential risk to labbased hazards including but not limited to chemicals biologicals potent compounds research material high temperature etc.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside and outside labs.
- Frequently use objects tools or controls which will require regular bending squatting stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.
- Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the instrument/equipment) distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to perform the essential service functions of this position.
- Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer.
- Employees may be required to handle hazardous waste according to local state and federal regulations.
