Our client is a company operating a marketplace for consumers sellers and content creators. It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by thirdparty sellers.
Job Title: Software Dev Engineer II
Location: Herndon VA 20171

Job Description:
- Require a Software Development Engineer who will work on creating windows services written.
- Primary responsibilities include developing windows solutions including deep diving into troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (written in Golang and Python).
- In addition to direct feature development the engineer will enhance the functionality of existing systems increase our ability to scale and contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Responsibilities also include working alongside other engineers on development of software updating/enhancing our current software automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have experience developing services for Windows including Windows Event Logging Windows registry WMI Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) and Windows file system.
Preferred coding skills:
- Golang and Python.
- Other desired technical skills include Windows kernel expertise UNIX/LINUX.
- A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 35 years of relevant experience is required.
Typical Day in the Role:
- 40 hours
- Possible conversion and full time

- Technical degree in Computer Science

- Language experience and Knowledge of event logging
