THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE CONTRACTOR TO BE ONSITE 3 DAYS/WEEK. Only Local candidates.
The project manager will be responsible for adhering toproject management governance on multiple current and future projects. Additionallythe PM will be accountable for generating project schedulesidentifying/staffing needed resourcing completing the procurement of vendorproducts / implementation services and submitting funding requests asrequired. The PM will manage the delivery efforts and report status of eachwithin a common project reporting mechanism. The PM will work with multiplebusiness and platform areas across the State potentially including upperlevelstate government committees. The Project Manager will conduct project meetingsand is responsible for project tracking and analysis ensuring adherence toquality standards and project deliverables.
The PM will be part of a PMO team responsible for allaspects of IT project governance assessment management and control. The abilityto gather and define requirements; build a project plan; identifying resourceneeds; and transparent clear communications across all levels of stakeholders.Essential is the ability to multitask on continually changing and morphingpriorities as prescribed by leadership in response to department andlegislative direction.
