Position: Electronic Assembler III
Location: Irvine CA 92618
Duration: 9 months (May get extend)
Pay Rate: $22/hr.
Shift: 1st (Monday Friday) 5:30AM or 6:30AM
Client: Leading Aerospace Industry
Workweek will be Monday to Friday. May include OT during the week and weekend.
Start time: 5:30AM or 6:30AM
The Electronics Assembler III is in charge of performing within his / her area of technological specification tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Works from assembly instructions parts lists wire lists diagrams verbal instructions and notes to assemble wire and install a wide variety of components
Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units
Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron
Interfaces with PC to record job activities
Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature
Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and
MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)
Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing
Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions
Excellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration
Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas
Adequate Computer knowledge to look up engineering EOs using local database and other required documentation prior to starting a job
Prototype cable manufacturing experience (IPC620 certification)
Mechanical assembly (IPC610 certification)
Soldering skills (IPC610 certification) a plus
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 1530 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Education:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
