ROLE: SRE Engineer
LOCATION: ATLANTA (US:30301) GA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Upgrades Monitoring Familiar with GCP. Andible/terraoform/ Monitoring tools
Set up and support services in cloud.
Services are being used by large set of customers. Need a close coordination with them schedule activities in a predefined maintenance window.
Activities:
Start the work troubleshoot issues communicate internally as required
Change management system tickets for compliance
Half of these activities have runbooks and existing automation other half developing runbook and automation at runtime
Work from engineers do technical work troubleshoot escalate as needed focused work in 4 hr maintenance window each day
Jenkins upgrade and migration work Configure correct parameters in Jenkins monitor log and ensure everything work as anticipated.
Troubleshooting check work is up check disc size of something fails utilization is high running commands locally if automation fails
Use of ansible/python; Understand high level whats going on in Ansible/Python and make changes as required.
Attention to details and soft skills are very important
