Credit Investigator
Location: Plano TX
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension
HYBRID Opportunity (Only Wednesday Onsite)
Description:
To complete all requested credit investigation at or exceeding dealer service levels. Phonebased role where you will be needed to make inbound and outbound calls and strive for daily phone service of 100%.
Scope of work: Includes the below items via inbound/outbound phone calls to credit applicants and use of approved credit investigation tools:
Verify Proof of Residence
Verify Proof of Income
Verify Phone Number
Investigate/Verify Initial Fraud Alerts
Investigate/Verify Extended Fraud Alerts
Investigate/Verify ActiveDuty Military Fraud Alerts
Submit SSA89 forms
Respond to requests for additional investigation (Returned via ARW when investigation request is received to the Credit Analyst (CA) advising that it is outside of scope.
Follow all credit investigation policies and procedures as outlined in articles found in SRM Knowledge and FOPP (see links above) using the proper credit investigation tools and proper notation of applications.
Communicate in a professional manner.
Always maintain a high level of professionalism in verbiage and tone when interacting with applicants and leaving messages.
Compile and analyze credit information gathered by investigation.
Obtain information about potential creditors from banks credit bureaus and other credit services and provide reciprocal information if requested.
Requirements:
Must Haves:
Excellent written and communication skills
Phone based experience (inbound/outbound calls)
PC literate with good typing skills (2530 WPM)
Minimum education level of a high school graduate
The expectation is that these people will be available to work on 5 days a week with two of those days being Saturday and Monday mandatory.
Required Work Hours:
The hours should be 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturday.
For business continuities the 4 corporate partners will have Sunday and one of the following weekdays off: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday or Friday.
**Holidays Off: Thanksgiving and Christmas
This is a longterm role that the managers can see the candidate moving into a Contracts Analyst role full time but this is based on the business need and performance.
This is an entry level role
Collections/Customer Service background is fine

You should wear business attire when you are representing the Company. These instances may include interactions with dealers suppliers visits with special guests or other similar situations. However a day spent in the office may allow for a more casual choice.

Clothing should always reflect a professional image be clean and neat in appearance and fit in a manner that is appropriate for a business environment.
