Production Shift Manager

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor bottling and blending progress to plan identify constraints and agree to action plans through Team Leaders and support functions.
  
• Regularly throughout each day communicate with Receiving Maintenance Planning and QA to align corrective action strategies and corrective actions.
  
• Develop Team Members building competent and motivated teams to meet department objectives.
  
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in both bottling and blending.
  
• Maintains uptodate process documentation.
  
• Regularly participates in developing and reviewing SOPs including participation in daily SOP training in the preshift stand up meetings.
  
• Performs daily review and approval of the employee time and attendance system.
  
• Leads process improvement efforts for the production operation and other related processes.
  
• Maintain safety and quality related training of all team members up to date and document. Identify additional training requirements and arrange for training.
  
• Ensures that employees follow all company policies and procedures including GMPs and all Safety and Quality requirements.
  
• Maintain GMP and sanitation standards in areas of accountability.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required. Degree preferred.
  
• Food or beverage production experience in a leadership role required.
  
• Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
