About the Job
Role Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the daily production of quality engineers and quality support staff. They lead improvement initiatives to meet key business objectives and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Critical Metrics

• Measuring and monitoring effectiveness
• Inprocess containment of issues
• Reductions in scrap rates
• Overall customer satisfaction

Duties Include

• Coordinate with production and other departments to maximize product quality and minimize costs.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification the QMS system and other required certifications.
• Apply total quality management tools and analytical reporting processes.
• Manage disposition of suspect material to scrap rework and returns in a timely manner.
• Participate in advance product quality planning (APQP) for new product development.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality. Maintain corrective and preventative actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (B.A.) from fouryear college or university in a related field.
• Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment leading or managing a quality department.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.

This is an onsite supervisory position in Jefferson WI.
