Position: Oracle RPAS/ Retail Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
The RPAS Tester must have strong experience in architecture programming and testing of applications in Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) and Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP)
- Strong experience in Oracle RPAS particularly in RDF and AIP version 15.0
- Strong experience in Oracle RPAC and creating automated tests for RDF application
- Strong Retail domain experience to understand the business requirement
- AIX knowledge kernel OS scripting nuances buffers filesystems issue review and correction error report interpretation
- K93 (Korn shell 93 not just 88 experiences there are nuances with 93 in play at Kroger)
- Extensive work experience in UNIXAIX on shell and KornShell scripting
- Troubleshooting techniques and strong analytical skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps managed projects
- Experience working with GitHub Harness Artifactory and other continuous integration tools is a plus
- Experience with RPAC is a plus
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Oracle RPAS Technical and Functional Knowledge (retail industry expertise)
- Expertise in AIP and RDF modules within Oracle RPAS
- Working with Oracle development tools including PLSQL SQL
- Development with SQL and PL/SQL best practices including OA framework
- Working independently with limited general supervision.
