Role: QNXT Tester/ Business Testing Analyst

Job Summary
The Business Testing Analyst (BTA) will perform activities that provide business solutions to complex organizational initiatives and should demonstrate an extensive expertise in the Claims platform and all interfacing applications. The Testing Analyst will play a role in the configuration and implementation of new markets & products. They will be responsible for all Business Testing execution identifying defects and documentation. The Testing analyst will work with the Snr Business Testing Analyst to deliver a welldocumented and thorough project scope as per project plans and timelines & escalate barriers as they arise.
Possess a high degree of expertise in the business requirements that support governmental & commercial reimbursement policies and methodologies of the organization
Develop a thorough understanding of the Sentara Health Plans claims processing systems (QNXT CES 3M Microdyn) a thorough understanding of Governmental and Commercial enrollment requirements as well as a basic understanding of interfacing systems and processes such as EDI Encounters Payment Integrity ID Cards Welcome Kits CMS timelines Customer service applications and State Requirements
Perform complex testing data analysis to identify and validate system configuration changes made to the claims processing platform as well as changes made to the ancillary claims systems (CES and 3M)
Perform complex testing data analysis to identify and validate system configuration changes to support all Member facing applications and processes
Create a maintain a suite of repeatable test cases
Demonstrate the understanding and ability to map testing to a traceability matrix
Assess the needs of the change requests and translate them into test scenarios.
Ability to create custom SQL queries in SQL server databases.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to plan test implement and troubleshoot system process and software updates/changes
Related Description
3 years in strong analytical roles preferred
Required
3 years experience in Medicaid Medicare or Commercial Healthcare Claims processing
3 years direct experience configuring and supporting Health Claims Systems on QNXT platform
Preferred
1 years MS SQL server experience including writing SQL queries SQL Server Analysis Services SQL Server Reporting Services SQL Server Integration Services
3 years direct experience in a testing or quality auditor role

Proven ability to analyze data processes and initiate root cause analysis to influence correction actions with leadership
Ability to retrieve and analyze complex data using Microsoft Access Excel and/or SQL
Proficient knowledge of flow charting/process mapping with Microsoft Visio
Proven ability to work independently/in a team while managing multiple tasks and priorities
Strong knowledge of software implementation / development life cycle
Managed Care; Medicaid or Medicare Insurance
Functional knowledge of healthcare core operating systems (QNXT CSC)
