Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client is the brand name of Deere & Company an American corporation that manufactures agricultural machinery heavy equipment forestry machinery diesel engines drivetrains used in heavy equipment and lawn care equipment.
Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Urbandale IA 50322
Duration: 19 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Hybrid (4 days/ week)
Job Description:
This is a project coordinator position but in an IT environment. Managing multiple project in a similar space would be ideal. Recent bachelors grad in Business would be preferred.
Required Skills Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience:
  • Experience initiating planning executing and leading project plans
  • Experience utilizing technical or project data to drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication organization and technical documentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products (Word Excel Outlook etc)
Desired Skills Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience:
  • Experience creating and implementing process improvements
  • Familiarity with IT environments
  • Technical knowledge using various data systems (ex. SAP)
  • Mechanical background doing simple engine repair or maintenance
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
Education Preferences:
  • Associates of Arts or Bachelor Degrees in one of the following fields:
  • Business Management Discipline
  • Computer Science Discipline
  • Engineering Technology Discipline
  • Certification in project management a plus (ex. CAPM PMP)
Provides management and leadership to work teams for the successful delivery of strategic business projects or product introductions by gathering necessary resources establishing priorities and delivering outcomes that are focused on business growth products and/or improving customer satisfaction or channel partner development.
Duties:
  • Leads work teams to gather necessary resources and establish priorities in support of strategic business initiatives or product introductions.
  • Identifies the project deliverable directs the design of the project plan and leads the execution of the plan.
  • Ensures projects are developed with realistic outcomes business objectives and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Determines and secures resources to assure successful completion of a project.
  • Monitors ongoing project/program status and maintains communications with business unit leadership and affected stakeholders.
