Job Description: Performs technical planning system integration verification and validation cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept design fabrication test installation operation maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis timeline analysis detail trade studies requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities use E646 Systems EngrIT.
This position is for a Systems Engineer with a background in avionics systems that will be a part of team charged with the creating a rotary wing aircraft mission systems and glass cockpits that integrates modern and legacy systems and subsystems such as mission computers smart display technologies weapons systems various data links as well as an aircraft Operational Flight Program using modern Systems Engineering principles practices and tools including Model Based Engineering Automation and working with an Agile development mindset.

Required Qualifications :
Experience collaborating on large Systems Engineering teams through the development lifecycle of an avionics subsystem within a complex mission system for rotary wing platforms.
Familiarity with weapons systems sensor systems glass cockpits and mission computing.
Familiarity with Agile and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
Versed in Systems Engineering principles and practices including trade studies decision analysis and requirements development specification development test procedure design and supplier management.
Desired skills :
Experience with SYSML and Systems modeling tools including Cameo and Rhapsody.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of DevSecOps.
Advanced experience with MS Office products.
