Location: Atlanta GA 30339 (Remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Note:

• Working Remote with less than 10 percent of the time spent in the office EST.

Job Description:

Summary:

• The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment helps in the preparation and distribution of drug products.
• The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Medication adherence calls to members; faxing able to resolve member issues & complaints; communicating with provider offices when needed; Must arrive on time daily complete assigned work and turn in assignments daily.
• Process prescription exceptions which may include resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.
• Escalate questions regarding prescription to a pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• Certification and registration by the state of GA.

Software skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of Excel and prescription medications as deemed by the PTCB.

• Certification and registration by the state of GA.
