Holland Hospital is looking for an experienced (minimum 2 years) Hospitalist to join their team. Our position is unique in that we need the physician to do it all ICU rounding admissions night shift and procedures! Must be able to provide case logs (minimum of 10 for intubations more preferred).
Dates of Coverage: 3/253/31 4/84/14 4/224/28 5/65/12 5/205/26 6/36/9 6/176/23 7/17/7 potential to extend. Please note the full week is either days or nights not a mix. Looking for providers that are flexible to both day and night shifts.
- Practice Setting (Inpatient/ICU/Rounding/Admitting): Hospital Medicine Team 7/on7/off MondaySunday 5 rotations ICU/Telemetry A Rounder (spine/ortho floor telemetry overflow) B Rounder (med/surg floor) C Rounder night shift (7p7a).
- Schedule (Shifts and Hours): ICU/TU 6:30a6:30p A/B/C 7a7p night shift 7p7a; orientation 23 days 68 hours/day
- APPs provide coverage 7a3a
- Other hospitalists will be present during Locums coverage except for 3a630a on night shift.
- Average Number of Patients Per Day ADMISSIONS: 03 APPs help with admissions
- Average Number of Patients Per Day ICU: 23 but can vary
- Average Number of Patients Per Day INPATIENT: 1618
- Hospitalist will need to respond to inhouse codes YES
- Number of ICU Beds: 8
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level 3
- Procedures/Duties Required: NonInvasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap) Ventilation Management Intubation (ETT/INT) Central Line Arterial Line paracentesis thoracentesis lumbar punctures. Evaluation and Mgmt of Acute Volume / BP Issues EKG Interpretation Arthrocentesis.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe up to 90 days
Requirement description : All must be notated in additional information at the time of name clear
- 2 years of experience no new grads REQUIRED
- Internal Medicine Board Certification REQUIRED
- MI License REQUIRED
- BLS ACLS REQUIRED
- Please submit rates and specific availability with name clear (must be available 7on/7off including night shift) REQUIRED
- Case logs for procedures (minimum of 10 for intubations more preferred) REQUIRED during credentialing
- Clean background for expedited credentialing REQUIRED
- Covid Vaccination REQUIRED
- Local candidate REQUIRED
