We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer responsible for managing backend services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all serverside logic definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. You will also be responsible for integrating the frontend elements built by your coworkers into the application. Therefore a basic understanding of frontend technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilities
- Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers
- Build efficient testable and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Develop test and deploy highquality web applications using PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter and Laravel).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Design and optimize database schema for performance and reliability.
- Ensure the security performance and scalability of the applications.
- Keep uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Senior PHP Developer (46 years).
- Proficient in PHP development with a focus on CodeIgniter or Laravel frameworks.
- Extensive experience working with databases; strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with the frontend team.
- Ability to design and implement robust scalable and efficient web applications.
- Indepth knowledge of web application architecture and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web applications developed using CodeIgniter or Laravel.
- Experience with database management and optimization.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
