Key responsibilities include:
- Offer comprehensive school social work services to students facing academic risks or struggling with social emotional or behavioral issues.
- Provide essential direct and indirect support as a related service in the realm of special education.
- Act as a liaison between students homes the school and community providers ensuring seamless access to necessary services and facilitating effective collaboration.
- Deliver timely crisis intervention services to address emergent situations and provide immediate support.
- Undertake other comparable duties that contribute to the overall success of our school community.
Requirements
- Required: LSW or LCSW certification.
- A Masters degree in Social Work.
- Must hold a PEL Certification endorsed in Social Worker or School Support personnel.
