OverviewServes as a Housing Specialist under the supervision of the Housing Manager, performs wide variety of administrative, coordination, conduct inspections, duties related to providing housing services and support of employees living in areas throughout Doha Qatar.Responsibilities Coordinates with Manager to ensure and maintain 100% accountability of Government Property and Materials in accordance with applicable Government regulations and Property Management Plan. Provides assistance to the Housing Department to effectively manage all Government Furnished Property to include Company Leased Property and Materials to help develop and coordinate the implementation of policies and procedures Determines condition of material and equipment. Arranges disposal of excess or obsolete property; Prepares property disposition documentation and coordinates distribution. Provides assistance, direction, and information to all employees as required acts as a customer service representative.. Coordinates with the maintenance sub-contractor for replacement of appliances, equipment, furnishings and closing of work orders. Schedules pre and final clearance inspections for out-processing personnel, to include temporary visitors and sub-contractor employees. Performs pre and final clearance inspections to include property inventory, helps with Health & Welfare Checks to include issues regarding cleanliness. Conducts pre-issue functionality checks of room appliances and equipment. Reviews and ensures that housing assignments are in accordance with all VECTRUS Management rules & regulations and local Qatar policy & laws; will also ensure that quality controls are in place to ensure that bedrooms are ready-for-occupancy and ensures exception to policy cases are appropriately approved by the Manager & VECTRUS Senior Management Chain of Command. Plans, coordinates, inspect, issue beddings/linens, prepare apartments if needed for tenant arrivals and departures of personnel to include property and key inventories. Also, may be required to meet and greet new employees at the airport, to give them an initial in briefing and drop them off to their assigned company housing unit if needed. Serves as a customer contact for housing issues must be able to handle employee complaints and service-related issues tactfully with diplomatic discretion and acts as a security representative in regard to tenant’s property and company related matters, also serves as a safety representative for the housing department and contract. Ensures accurate accounting and reconciliation of issued accountable properties, the cleanliness and preparation of housing facilities, appliances, equipment, and proper monitoring and reporting systems. Supervises the conduct of periodic preventative facility maintenance and coordinates health / safety / welfare inspections between VECTRUS Housing, the tenants, and Sub-contractors when needed. Coordinates with the maintenance sub-contractor for replacement of appliances, equipment, and furnishings. Ensures that logistics and support services are adequate to respond to fluctuating and surge in housing requirements. May be required to clean housing units to include bedrooms, common area rooms, and bathrooms. Helps with weekly preventive maintenance checks and services on company leased vehicles and may be required to help with accident reports and vehicle mileage logs. Performs other duties as assigned and may be required to work additional hours when mission requires. Must be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergency situations. Qualifications Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required: 1. High school or equivalent. Associates Degree + 4 yrs. experience in Hotel Management or Property or BS +1-2 yrs. experience. Management Administration is a plus. 2. Must have a valid Qatar Driver’s License. 3. Should have the ability to transport electronic equipment to and from the base and must have great customer service Skills. Experience: 1. Five years experience in customer service field. Skills: Must have the ability to work effectively with employees and customers, and management at all levels in a multi-national diverse working environment. Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion and maturity is required. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ie Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other software as required.
