Job Description
Thinkbot Research is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role you will play a crucial part in automating supporting and monitoring our daily trading operations across various exchanges and asset classes. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Ensuring the seamless daily startup and shutdown of Thinkbots proprietary automated trading systems.
- Monitoring trading activities and maintaining the health of our inhouse infrastructure promptly addressing market alerts outages and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Designing developing and maintaining scripts to automate daily trading activities.
Key Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting Python or similar languages.
- Strong familiarity with Linux environments.
- Preferably candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience are sought.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in creating automation scripts to streamline processes.
- Handson experience with monitoring tools preferably in a financial industry context.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment managing multiple highpriority projects under pressure.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
