- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
- Coordinate and conduct drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.
- Develop and update safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
- Communicate and enforce safety policies to all levels of the organization.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for emergency response drills and exercises.
- Facilitate regular safety meetings to discuss concerns, improvements, and updates.
- Promote open communication regarding safety matters among employees.
- Conduct risk assessments for various work processes and areas.
- Recommend and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, incidents, and training.
- Prepare and submit reports on safety performance as required.
