Cad Cam Operator

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project objectives and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Develop CNC programs using CAM software to automate the manufacturing process.
• Optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency taking into account material properties production methods and costeffectiveness.
• Perform quality checks on designs and prototypes to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any design or manufacturing issues that arise during the production process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs revisions and manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated on advancements in CAD/CAM technologies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering industrial design or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA) and CAM software (e.g. Mastercam GibbsCAM).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC machining and programming is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to CAD/CAM design and manufacturing.
